Production Area: Tenuta Cantalupo in Notaresco. Abruzzo.
Vineyards: Our grapes are in Notaresco valley in the prime hilly site with outstanding growing conditions where the Montepulciano d’Abruzzo gem can shine.
This area benefits of a special microclimate and good soil structure due to the high peaks of the Gran Sasso National Park and the Adriatic coast.
Vinification: The grapes are hand-picked, put into little baskets and carried to the winery, for de-stemming, double hand selection, soft crushing, and maceration - fermentation for 25 days. Malolactic fermentation and maturation.
