Great structure, good balance between alcohol and freshness, velvety tannins, very persistent with a long finish; ready to drink or can well be aged for long. One of our flagships red confirms itself as a timeless icon of style and elegance.
Baked lamb, Florentine style rib, fresh pasta with ragout. Excellent also with grilled meat, eggplant caponata, cold cuts and sausages, seasoned cheeses.

Abruzzo Wine
Varieties: The best grapes of Montepulciano, Sangiovese, Primitivo, Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera.
Production Area: Notaresco, Ortona, Sava, Manduria. Abruzzo and Puglia regions.
Vineyards: Grapes for the Edizione Collection 18 are grown in the communes of Colonnella, Ortona, Sava and San Marzano.
The Montepulciano and Sangiovese grapes are from the hills in Abruzzi which is situated at 300 meters above sea level.
While the remaining varieties, which includes Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera, are grown in Southern Puglia.
For this reason, the wine is classified as a Vino da Tavola.
A deeply colored, intense and powerful wine that is, according to its creator, Valentino Sciotti, 'a true taste of Southern Italy’.
Vinification: Grapes were pressed and destemmed before maceration and fermentation which lasted 25 days.
Malolactic fermentation took place in new oak barriques, of which 60% were American and the remainder French.
The wine ages for 12 months in a special selection of oak chosen by head winemaker directly in Bordeaux in the tonnellerie Seguin Moreau.
