Color: Excellent color density of an intense ruby red with burgundy highlights.
Aroma: The nose is fresh and vinous with notes of small red fruits, violet, rose and sweet almond combined with hints of Mediterranean, slight hints of oak give it an elegant spice.
Taste: The mouthfeel is pleasant, balanced and harmonious, at the center still fruit in pleasant harmony with balsamic notes and evident but not invasive tannins. Closes with a pleasant and persuasive finish that leads to drink again.
Serving temperature: 16 °C
Food pairing: delicatessen and crusting - first courses with meat sauces - small farmyard animals - grilled fish - “cacciucco alla livornese” - legume soups (zuppe di legumi).
How much remains in the cellar: about 10 years.
