Wine Description
'Vurria' is Sicilian for vorrei, and means to desire.
This unique Rosato is made from the native Sicilian Nerello Mascalese grape known for its expressive aromatics and spice.
The variety was first introduced to Sambuca di Sicilia by the family in 1968.
The grapes are hand harvested from the vineyard, de-stemmed, direct-press for around 2 hours, with temperature controlled.
Fermentation in stainless steel tank and aged on the fine lees for 4 months.
