Wine Description
'Vurria' is Sicilian for vorrei, and means to desire.
Thanks to rigorous vineyard work and yields reduced by 50% this high- altitude expression of the Sicilian Nero d'Avola is complex and flavorful, with great freshness and minerality.
Hand harvested grapes from the vineyard are destemmed and fermented, warm maceration for 20 days on the skins.
Partial barrel aging in French oak for 6 months.
The wine was aged in bottle for 6 months before release.
