Wine Description
Gerbino Bianco is a harmonious blend of the native Sicilian Grillo grape, high altitude Chardonnay and Viognier. Chardonnay imparts acidity and body, Grillo bold flavors and Viognier honey notes and aromatics.
The organic Grillo and Viognier grapes come from hill side vineyards in Contessa Entellina. The Chardonnay from the mountainside San Giacomo vineyard.
The grapes are handpicked, fermentation in stainless steel tank, each separately.
The wine is aged on the fine lees for 5 months, and then blended before bottling.
